Our services

Estate Planning

We have an easy, 3-step process designed to have your estate plan created and signed in 6-8 weeks.

The first step is to attend your Peace of Mind Planning Session. You’ll fill out a secure online questionnaire (“Family Profile”) before we meet so we can make the best use of our time together. At this Zoom or in-person session, you will learn all about your options and our flat fees. When you are ready to move forward, we will send you our engagement letter and invoice online.

The second step is your Estate Plan Design Meeting. Together, we will design your estate planning documents. After this meeting, we will draft your documents and send a copy for your review about two weeks later. You can request any changes or updates at that time. When everything is ready to go, we will schedule a Signing Ceremony.

The final step is your Signing Ceremony. You will sign your documents following the proper legal formalities in front of two witnesses and a notary. We can have this session at one of our offices or in your home.

Following the execution of your documents, we are available for free, unlimited lifetime consultations regarding your estate plan.

Trust Administration

Trust administration refers to the process of managing and distributing assets held in a trust according to the terms outlined in the trust document after the trust creator (grantor) passes away or becomes incapacitated. It involves tasks such as identifying and valuing assets, paying debts and taxes, and distributing property to beneficiaries as specified in the trust. Trust administration ensures that the wishes of the trust creator are carried out efficiently and legally.

Probate

Probate is the legal process where a court oversees the distribution of a person's assets after they pass away without a trust. It involves validating the deceased person's will (if there is one), identifying their property and debts, paying taxes and creditors, and distributing the remaining property to beneficiaries according to the will or state law if there is no will. Probate ensures that everything is handled properly and fairly according to legal requirements.
